Set in Highland, Maryland, Schooley Mill Park offers plenty of natural variety within a short walk. Open fields create space for movement, while natural pathways, wooded trails, and equestrian jumps give us changing light, texture, and a few unexpected backdrops. It’s versatile enough to make each session feel personal while keeping the Demi experience simple and streamlined.

Your Demi Session includes 30 minutes of photography at Schooley Mill Park and 15 finished photographs selected from a curated proofing gallery. It’s a relaxed, efficient way to create meaningful portraits without planning a full-length session.

All three are photographed with the same Silver Orchard approach and finishing. The difference is how much time we have together, when and where the session can take place, and how much of the experience is designed specifically around your family.

THE DEMI SESSION
A fully customized portrait experience with your choice of date and location, styling guidance, Client Closet access, and creative direction. Your complete finished gallery is included, with no set image limit.
90 MINUTES · $850 · FULL GALLERY
SIGNATURE SESSION
If the weather isn’t suitable for an outdoor session, we’ll choose a new date. I’ll monitor the forecast and confirm any weather-related decisions as your session approaches.
What happens if it rains?
Demi Sessions are designed for one couple or immediate family. For extended families or a larger variety of groupings, the 90-minute Signature Session will give us the time we need.
Can I bring extended family?
Yes. You’ll select your 15 included photographs from a curated proofing gallery, with the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery.
Can I purchase more than 15 photographs?
Demi Sessions are available throughout the year, subject to my portrait calendar and the best available light at Schooley Mill Park.
When can I schedule a Demi Session?
Keeping Demi Sessions at one versatile location allows me to offer more time and flexibility than a mini while maintaining a lower investment than a Signature Session. The park also gives us several natural settings within a short walk.
