Capturing the UNEXPECTED, INTIMATE MOMENTS THAT TAKE PLACE ON A WEDDING DAY TELL THE STORY OF A BEAUTIFUL MARRIAGE
Every wedding has its own rhythm. Some moments call for quiet observation. Others benefit from gentle direction. Knowing the difference is what allows a gallery to feel both refined and completely honest.
I pay attention to the details that shape the experience as much as the photographs themselves—a timeline with room to breathe, portraits that never feel rushed, and the freedom to step back when the most meaningful moments are unfolding naturally. The result is a collection that feels polished without feeling performed.
Long after the flowers are gone and the music has faded, what remains are the relationships, the atmosphere, and the small moments that might have otherwise been forgotten. Those are the photographs I want you to come back to for decades.
Your gallery is delivered within a few weeks, ready to relive and share. From there, I'll help you preserve your photographs through heirloom albums and artwork designed to be enjoyed for generations.
Your Photographs
I'll guide you when needed, step back when the moments deserve space, and quietly keep everything moving. My goal is simple: for you to be fully present while every meaningful moment is thoughtfully documented.
The Wedding Day
We'll finalize your timeline, family portraits, and meaningful details. Together we'll build a plan that lets your day unfold naturally without feeling rushed.
Wedding Planning
Your engagement session is a chance to slow down, get comfortable in front of the camera, and create photographs together before the wedding. Most couples arrive a little nervous and leave feeling completely at ease.
Engagement Session
Once your date is officially reserved, you'll receive access to your client resources. From trusted vendor recommendations to timeline guidance, I'm here to help long before your wedding day arrives.
Your Date is Reserved
You've explored the website, blog, and portfolio. Now let's get to know each other. We'll talk through your wedding, answer your questions, and make sure we're the right fit before moving forward.
Let's Connect
The strongest photographs begin with understanding the people in front of the camera. I'd love to learn more about your wedding, what matters most to you, and how we can create photographs that feel personal from the very beginning.
I'd love to hear what you're envisioning.

The polished, editorial portraits you see throughout my work begin with thoughtful direction. Rather than asking you to "just be natural," I'll guide you every step of the way so you never have to wonder what to do. Once that foundation is in place, people relax, personalities come through, and the in-between moments begin to happen naturally. That's where refined portraits and genuine emotion meet.
We want photographs that feel natural and elevated, but posing sounds so awkward.

Beautiful photographs begin long before the wedding day. Together, we'll build a timeline that creates room for both the portraits you've been dreaming about and the moments you never want to interrupt. Sometimes that means photographing family before the ceremony. Sometimes it means saving portraits for sunset so you can enjoy cocktail hour. Every decision is made with one goal in mind: helping you experience your wedding as it's happening.
We don't want to spend our whole wedding taking pictures.

Would you ever guess the photograph beside this was taken during Tropical Storm Ophelia?
Rain changes the plan, but it doesn't have to define the photographs. I keep a close eye on the forecast, adjust timelines when needed, and know how to find beautiful light under a covered walkway, beneath a porch, or wherever your venue offers shelter. More often than not, the rain becomes part of the story behind the photographs—not the photographs themselves.
What if it rains?

Family portraits are often the most logistically complex part of the day, but they shouldn't feel that way. Before the wedding day, we'll work together to create a thoughtful list based on the people who matter most to you. On the day itself, I'll take the lead—guiding everyone where they need to be, keeping things moving, and making sure no one is left wondering what's next. The result is a portrait experience that feels organized, efficient, and leaves you free to get back to celebrating.
I'm worried family photos are going to be chaotic or take forever.

It's a question worth asking. Every wedding reflects its time, and that's part of its story. Timeless photography isn't about avoiding trends—it's about knowing where they belong. I keep my editing true to life and my portraits rooted in classic composition, while embracing trends like creative flat lays, direct flash, and motion blur. Some photos celebrate the energy of the moment. Others become the portraits your children and grandchildren will know you by. Knowing the difference is part of creating a gallery that feels both current and enduring.
Will our photos still feel like us in twenty years?

The Concern:
You care about beautiful photographs, but not at the expense of actually experiencing the day. You want portraits that feel considered and effortless, details photographed with intention, and the moments in between left room to unfold on their own.
FOR COUPLES WHO WANT BOTH
Once you're ready, I'll send over your proposal, contract, and booking invoice. As soon as those are complete, your date is officially reserved—and we can begin planning everything from your engagement session to your wedding day timeline.
What happens next if we’d like to book?
Every wedding is different, but most full wedding days receive 800–1,000 carefully edited images. You'll receive a few preview photographs shortly after the wedding, with your full gallery delivered within 8–10 weeks.
How many images will we receive, and when?
Absolutely! Most of my couples aren't models—they're simply people who want to feel relaxed and present on their wedding day. I'll guide you when it's helpful, then step back so your connection can unfold naturally.
Will you help us feel comfortable in front of the camera?
My approach blends refined portraiture with genuine, unscripted moments. The result is a collection that feels timeless, natural, and true to your day—balancing thoughtful direction with the space for authentic moments to unfold.
How would you describe your photography style?
Absolutely. While I'm based in Maryland and regularly photograph weddings throughout the DMV and East Coast, I'm always excited to travel wherever your celebration takes you. Travel arrangements are customized for each wedding to keep the experience as seamless as possible.
Do you travel for weddings?
Most couples reserve their date 9–12 months in advance, especially for popular seasons. If you’re planning a destination or fall wedding, I always recommend reaching out as soon as possible to ensure availability.
How far in advance should we inquire with you?
