Hi! I’m Christine. I started in the graphic design field 10 years ago and fell in love with photography because it was the perfect extension to what I already loved about design; it’s all about telling a story.
I want to get to know you. Tell me what makes you excited. How did you fall in love? What silly thing does your child do? I want to document that, and be able to reflect it back to you so when you look through an album, you look back a moment time and can recall the stories of your life to those who matter most.
When I go about capturing your photo-shoot- whether a wedding, an engagement shoot or your newest addition at home, I am always looking for the little details that solidify our memories. So as you and your fiancé are walking along the path, there will be photos of the two of you, of course, but also the flowers along the path. In the nursery you will have photos of your baby in the crib, but also her little toes, and the little bunny on the bookshelf that will be her first toy. When you look through your album, you should be able to see the complete image, recall it with such a vividness that the memories come flooding back. That is the power of photography! It reminds us in clear detail, that we loved, and were loved.
I went a long way to end up exactly where I started. And I couldn't be happier.
Although I was born in Kentucky, I grew up in the Columbia area. I went to a women's college in Baltimore where I earned both my B.A. in Communication Arts and my M.A. in Contemporary Communications. I started my business my Sophomore year in college. I studied abroad for a year, traveling around Europe to eventually buy a house exactly 10 minutes from where I grew up. I met my husband Ryan at that same women's college while we were both working there. We got engaged in front of our Christmas tree and had our own wedding on the banks of Tennessee River.
Happily ever after for us is with our 3 year-old husky/lab Salem and a plane ticket to somewhere with an adventure! (Camera in hand, of course!)
